UCSF School of Medicine
Dr. John H. Fullerton was appointed the status of Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF Medical School in San Francisco, CA in July of 2013 where he has been deeply involved in teaching early medical students through the innovative, continuity primary care clinic approach called the Prime Program, which includes primary care sub-internship rotations in under-served populations, and the primary care tract for internal medicine residents.
In his work for UCSF, Dr. Fullerton pioneered the original UCSF house call teaching service in San Francisco, Marin County, the Eastbay and Southbay, providing training for UCSF medical students as a certified house call on-site physician/PA-C/nurse/phlebotomist/MA medical team, prior to turning over the position to Dr. Ezra Pound.
Dr. Fullerton has sat on expert topical committees/panels as well as given didactic lectures at various intervals, time permitting. UCSF Medical School is consistently named among the finest medical schools in the nation.
