Dr. Theresa Kemnitz, Hampton Health, Ltd. Associate Medical Director provides medical services as the On-Site Visiting Physician to Harmony House in San Rafael, CA.

Harmony House is an Alzheimer’s Special Care Facility independently owned and operated by Gregory and Linda Rice. In the early 1990’s, Greg Rice was compelled to find solutions to living and care for those with Alzheimer’s disease when his own uncle and several other immediate relatives were diagnosed with the disease at a time when no outlets for care were available.

After starting in the field of Assisted Living in Modesto, CA  he and wife Linda Rice created and opened the original Adobe House in Petaluma, CA which stood as an exemplary model for the care of Alzheimer’s disease.

Since selling Adobe House, their work continues at Harmony House in San Rafael which is recognized as an experienced leader in providing dementia care. Their specialization assures a keen and current knowledge of the diseases, symptoms, research and medications for Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  As a privately owned facility, Harmony House promotes an environment of family and community, continually changing to meet the needs of the individual.
