Through Hampton Health, Ltd. Nancy Higbie, RN has served as the Wellness Director of AgeSong of San Francisco in both their Hayes Valley and Laguna Grove locations providing an integral medical component to their holistic approach to assisted living and geriatric care.
Established in 1995 by Founder and CEO Nader R. Shabahangi, PhD, AgeSong is the winner of the American Society on Aging’s ‘Award for Excellence in the Field of Aging’. AgeSong is known for providing a uniquely humanistic and integrative approach to the care of elders, offering therapeutic environments that support the overall well-being of the ‘whole person’.
It had also long been a dream of Nader Shabahangi to find the missing medical component to fulfill the vision for his communities. He found it in Hampton Health, Ltd. and Dr. Fullerton’s thoughtful and innovative approach to geriatric medicine and care.
Along with the opportunity to provide a premier training platform for students from both of their medical and psychological internship programs, the partnership and mutual vision of Hampton Health, Ltd. and AgeSong of San Francisco created the first true psycho-bio-spiritual (Mind-Body-Spirit) program and approach to geriatric care of its kind.
